What are Gamstop casinos and how to they differ from the non Gamstop UK sites?

Gamstop casinos are the gambling platform that are licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. This name has stuck due to the national wide self exclusion scheme, known as GAMSTOP, which all UK licensed sites must participate in. And if a customer decides to self exclude through GAMSTOP, this means they’d have their access blocked all over the UK sites.

The non Gamstop casinos are named this way because they’re licensed offshore, by authorities other than the UKGC.

And, of course, the main difference between the two types of sites is that if you’ve previously registered with Gamstop, you’d not be allowed access to the UKGC casinos whereas the gambling platforms that operate independently of the GAMSTOP self exclusion scheme will still let you sign up and play.

Those aren’t the only differences, though. Another big one is to be found with the bonuses. The UKGC’s new rules set a cap for the max rollover allowed and it’s placed at 10x the bonus amount. But the promotions are also rather less abundant than with the offshore platforms. For instance, whereas sites like Gladiatorsbet provide you with up to £10,000 in max bonus funds or credit you huge percentage matches and free spins (like with Velobet where you’ll get 330% and 300 free spins), the UK licensed sites most commonly include no more than 100 free spins and no more than 100% up to £100 as bonus funds. It’s even more frequent to see a max bonus set at only £25.

Another thing we’d like to point out is the difference when it comes to payment options. Since the 2020 UK credit card ban, the UK licensed platforms cannot accept credit cards for betting, even if that’s to be done through a third party (such as e wallet, for instance). And due to crypto currencies not having any clear guidelines, due to the much more rigid KYC requirements, the UK operators are actually avoiding them. On the other hand, those payment options are commonly discoverable within the offshore gambling platforms and the crypto is one of the main reasons why UK customers are turning towards playing casino games offshore.

UK casinos not on Gamstop vs UKGC licensed casinos

One question that we see quite commonly is whether it’s better to pick a reliable casino not on Gamstop or an UKGC licensed site. There’s no way to answer this question because which one is better will depend on your playing style and personal preferences. But to help you understand the differences better, let’s compare the two options side by side and see what you’ll get with them both.

Types of non Gamstop casino bonuses and what should you know about them?

On our site you’ll see featured various types of bonuses. And to help you unravel what’s actually behind them, let’s see which are the most commonly found among them. Of course, within the respective casino reviews you’ll see more details as well as breakdowns of whether a given bonus is worth playing with.

Welcome bonuses at the top casinos not on Gamstop 2026

The most exciting promo offer that players can get with the offshore casinos is the first deposit bonus. Now, here’s where things can vary quite a bit. Some non Gamstop platforms provide you with, say, 100% match bonus up to £500 plus 100 free spins (such as the welcome promo that GQbet offers to its new players). Other casinos also provide matched bonuses on your next top ups, too. For instance, on the second one you might be offered additional 100% or 200%. On the third there might be yet another promotion part of the welcome package. The common factor you’ll need to pay attention to is the need to wager each part of the bonus over to continue with the next. Of course, if you fail to roll a given tranche over and the time expires, you’ll still be able to get the next part of the welcome bonus package provided you comply with the rules on minimum deposit required.

Top free spins at non Gamstop UK casino sites

Other really popular casino offers are the free spins. They come in various shapes and forms. For instance, many casinos outside the Gamstop self exclusion programme that accept UK players feature such types of bonuses as part of their welcome package. There are also some casinos which provide you with free spins on first deposit only (without a matched bonus) and yet third ones have such offers as ongoing promotions or available through daily free to play games and as part of the prize pool of slot tournaments.

But some of the best non Gamstop casino no deposit bonuses are also of this type. In other words, they offer you free spins without needing any investment on your part. There are still some requirements applying on how to get the given no deposit UK offer credited. Some platforms, although that’s a bit rare, credit you bonus spins right sign up. Other casino sites feature such offers when you verify your identity or contact info (such as Rolletto casino that provides you with free spins when you verify your email). Yet third ones provide you with no deposit offers when you follow them on social media. For instance, Zizobet provides you with up to 30 free spins credited when you join them on X, Telegram and Discord.

Ongoing promotions with the non Gamstop casinos in the UK

Speaking of ongoing promotions with the best non Gamstop casinos for 2026, you’ll be probably surprised to see how many such options are offered. Sure, some sites don’t provide you with that many bonuses but limit their choices. Some of the top online casinos, though, feature an enormous collection of offerings. Starting with the cashback bonus that’s quite commonly provided and gives you a certain percentage (sometimes reaching up to 20%) of your net losses back, going through the rakeback where the bonus money are calculated on your net stakes and not the losses only and up to the reload promotions where you’d enjoy additional matched bonus on your next deposit.

Top games to enjoy at non Gamstop casinos for UK players

With the best non Gamstop casinos 2026 UK players will manage to enjoy quite big collections with some sites providing you as many as 10,000+ titles. Of course, most of the platforms have slightly less packed selections, having something around 5 6,000+ titles. And since the experience varies quite a bit depending on where you’re playing, here we’re going to show you the main options you can count on and more about each casino’s game library you can see in the respective review.

Top non Gamstop slots

The non Gamstop sites provide you with quite a heavily packed slots library. The exact titles available depend on which casino you’d be playing with but the reason why many UK players are actually heading towards those platforms is to be found with the additional options when it comes to slots. Those include the Bonus Buy games, of course. A feature that’s forbidden within the UKGC sites which makes you have to count on your luck only to enter the bonus round of your favorite games. Whereas with the online gambling platforms with no Gamstop you’d be able to place a slightly higher wager and increase your chances of opening the bonus round or you’d even be able to hop right into it. Additional enjoyable features that are provided at the best sites without Gamstop for UK players in 2026 are the Auto Spin, Turbo Spin and the more cheerful graphics.

Of course, those casinos still provide you with everything else you’d be able to discover within the UK platforms. Which means you’d enjoy quite a lot of opportunities with different topics and themes. From your classic fruit symbols and the Irish based ones, through the Vegas styled slot machines and the ones based on mythology, fishing and so on. Not only will you have access to the standard payline mechanics but you’ll also see the cluster pays, scatter pays and the Megaways games.

Blackjack games with the UK online casinos

Other of the most popular games to play at casinos without Gamstop are the blackjack ones. And if you’re looking for the RNG varieties of this classic card game, there will be many of those offered. Among the most popular ones are:

• Blackjack Link
• Perfect Blackjack Multihand
• Surrender Blackjack
• Single Deck Blackjack
• Multihand Blackjack

Those, together with many additional options, give you the chance to enjoy your favorite type of blackjack game at your own pace.

Roulette tables at casino sites not on Gamstop

Another greatly favored type of game is the roulette. It’s one of the most classic types of casino experience and it’s found in three main varieties: American, European and French. But all of those options then have additional gameplay characteristics which allows you to discover many exciting roulette tables such as the Zoom one, the low stakes titles starting with just 10p per spin, as well as special multiplier options where your win can increase by 500x and more provided certain conditions are met.

Video poker with the best online casinos

The classic casino games continue further with poker. That’s a more strategical type of game which is the main reason why it’s favored by many. Now, speaking of video poker, you’ll be offered an even better variety than with the other titles we’ve already mentioned, and those include some truly popular options such as:

• Deuces Wild
• Oasis Poker
• Triple Edge Poker
• Casino Hold’Em
• Nines or Better Triple Win
• Tens or Better Side Bet
• Aces and Faces
• Jacks or Better

And those are just a handful of the plenty of options you’ll be able to discover. Because then you’ll see some Texas Hold’Em and Caribbean Stud, as well, together with 3 Card Brag and even Omaha poker (although that’s a bit rarer to find).

Live casino games at non Gamstop casinos UK

Sure enough, the non Gamstop casinos also have gathered dozens (and frequently more) of live dealer tables. While some sites are supplied mostly by Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live, others actually count mostly on iconic21, SA Gaming, 7Mojos and Betgames. In all cases the main types of games offered are basically the same: blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows. Poker collections vary depend on where you’re playing and the same actually goes for the exact varieties of the games mentioned above.

Software providers at non Gamstop casinos

Non Gamstop casinos offer you to enjoy the latest (and oldest ones, too) slots by many of the top providers such as:

• Pragmatic Play
• Evolution Gaming
• Hacksaw Gaming
• NetEnt
• Red Tiger
• Microgaming
• Play’N Go
• Big Time Gaming
• Blueprint Gaming
• Nolimit City

Lots of other top software developers like ThunderSpin, Playson, Betsoft, Novomatic, Wazdan and literary dozens of others are also included.

Sports, markets and odds with the best non Gamstop betting sites

Lots of the casino sites without Gamstop don’t only feature slots, live tables and similar options but have included a sportsbook, too. You’re probably already bored to hear it but the comprehensiveness of the betting section varies depending on where you’re playing. On most cases the popular sports are all featured such as:

• football
• horse racing
• tennis
• basketball
• volleyball

Here the differences are mainly in how many competitions are covered and what are the in play betting options, along with the value of the odds, too. When it comes to niche sports and eSports, a bigger variety is to be found with some sites only including standard options like darts, snooker, boxing, Formula 1, cricket and baseball with coverage on League of Legends, Dota 2 and Valorant. Others go above and beyond and provide you with every sport imaginable (even futsal, olympic sports, floorball, gaelic sports, special bets on politics, events and awards and so on) with a bigger collection of eSports, too, such as:

• Mobile Legends
• Kings of Glory
• Call of Duty
• Arena of Valor and so on.

With almost all non Gamstop bookies, though, both pre match and live betting is available. Newer features have also been added and exciting promotions are offered such as Bet Builder, featured pre made bets, enhanced odds, early cashout and so on. But since the variety is quite a big one, if you’d like to learn more specific details, you can always refer to our reviews where we cover everything a given site might present you with.

Best casinos not on Gamstop per payment method: Deposit and withdrawal options with the best UK non Gamstop casinos

One of the most important casino processes you’ll need to keep in mind is how payments are done. The good news is that many sites provide you with a rather comprehensive selection of deposit and withdrawal methods to make use of and let’s check a bit more info about them.

Cards

The non Gamstop casinos allow their customers to use various cards as a payment option. The standard ones are Visa and Mastercard and you’ll discover them pretty much everywhere. In contrast to the UKGC sites which accept only debit cards, with the no Gamstop online gaming platforms credit cards are accepted as well. Some of them allow you to use Visa cards which support Visa Fast Funds. In other words, with them withdrawals will be much quicker. Because with this payment platform when the casino releases your payout, you’ll have to wait about 30 40 more minutes and the money will hit your bank account. Whereas on other cards you’ll have to wait the standard processing time which might take anywhere from 3 to 5 business days.

Of course, along with the Visa and Mastercard, if you’re a Maestro holder, you’ll be also able to use your card within many no Gamstop sites. The rarest option is American Express which our team has seen maybe on just a couple of sites.

e Wallets

Many non Gamstop casinos provide their players with the chance to use digital wallets. It’s probably easily understandable that the most common options are Skrill and Neteller whereas Paypal is also included from time to time but, of course, it allows for lower limits only. On the other hand, Skrill and Neteller don’t allow you to claim pretty much any of the bonuses which is why players who’re after some of the top tier promotions available offshore actually prefer to utilize other methods. The main advantage here, though, is the relatively quick withdrawal processing because you’ll need to wait about 24 hours after the casino releases your payment to get it credited within your e wallet.

Bank transfer

However much digitalization might have advanced, the standard bank transfer still remains one of the methods provided for both deposits and withdrawals. And if you’ve deposited via an option that’s not available for payouts, your money will be send through bank, as well. But there are a couple of important things to mention here. First, on top ups you’ll no longer have to wait several business days for the transaction to clear. You’ll be able to get the money credited instantly within your casino account, usually with the help of Open Banking or third party apps like Trustly. On payouts, though, standard waiting times of up to 5 7 business days apply.

Other payment options

Other alternative methods are also offered. For instance, if you’d like to go fully mobile with your card payments and use enhanced security, you can make your transactions through Google Pay or Apple Pay. If you’d like to use your phone bill to make your payment, you can use pay by mobile and the amount of the deposit will be credited towards your next phone payment. Paysafecard (mostly via the e account you’ve got associated to it) is also offered together with several different types of ewallets like Much Better and MiFinity.

Cryptocurrencies

There are many crypto casinos not on Gamstop, too. After all, the sites regulated by the UK Gambling Commission don’t offer you payments via digital currencies and that’s why the no Gamstop casinos are so popular among UK players who’d like to deposit and withdraw with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum or other cryptos. If you take a look at our collection of the fastest payout online casinos, you’ll see that most of them provide you with the option to use cryptocurrencies. That’s mainly because such transfers happen within a few minutes. So, once the casino releases your payout, the waiting time that depends on the payment method is brought down to as little as possible, usually less than half an hour.

What do we pay attention to when reviewing the best new non Gamstop casinos in 2026?

At VaultSpins.co.uk we don’t simply tell you a site is good or bad. We show you the reasons why we consider it to be such. All our reviews are compiled after real tests. Our experts sign up, deposit money, claim the bonuses and try to play them through according to the bonus terms. Here’s the point where we’re able to determine whether a promo offer is actually worth it and how easy it is to convert in to real money.

Of course, our testing doesn’t stop here. Because along with checking out the bonuses and the games, our experts make sure to test the customer support team (and pay attention to how quickly they respond at different times of the day) and the payout speed. We time our tests down to the minute to be able to show you if you can actually count on your withdrawal going through not only quickly but hassle free, also.

Responsible gambling at non Gamstop online casinos

As we already mentioned above, the main reason why those sites carry such a title is the fact they aren’t licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and, therefore, aren’t obliged to connect to the GAMSTOP self exclusion scheme and block access of self excluded players. They do operate their own systems allowing you to ban yourself from playing there, too, both offering time outs (for a single site only and for a shorter duration) and self exclusion (for all sister sites under a given company and for a longer time period). To help you gamble responsibly and not reach a moment where you’ll need those tools, the non Gamstop sites provide you with additional tools such as deposit limits, the option to restrict your spendings and losses, as well as the chance to set up notifications (also called reality checks) which apper after you’ve played for a given time. Their goal is to remind you to take a break from playing and you can set the period in which they pop up yourself.

Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. If you feel gambling is becoming a problem, free confidential help is available 24/7:
